Do you have three days to discover Lloret de Mar? Although the town is well known for its beaches, Lloret has much more to offer: hidden coves, coastal paths overlooking the Mediterranean, beautiful gardens, cultural heritage, gastronomy and activities for all tastes.

Three days are enough to combine some of its must-see attractions with moments of relaxation and even discover another part of the Costa Brava. From Hotel Acacias, located just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, we have created the perfect itinerary to make the most of your stay.

DAY 1 · Discover the Essence of Lloret de Mar

Your first day is all about discovering Lloret at a relaxed pace, combining the beach, local heritage and some of the town’s most iconic spots.

Morning: Beach, Sa Caleta and the Camí de Ronda

After breakfast, start your day with a walk to Lloret Beach, located just a few minutes from Hotel Acacias.

From there, head towards Sa Caleta, a small traditional fishing cove located next to the famous Castell d’en Plaja. It is the perfect place to stop for a photo before continuing along the Camí de Ronda.

This coastal path reveals a much more natural side of Lloret, with small coves, cliffs, pine forests and viewpoints overlooking the Mediterranean.

If you feel like walking a little further, continue towards Cala Trons, a small cove surrounded by nature where you can enjoy a swim and relax by the sea.

Lunchtime: Mediterranean Gastronomy

After your walk, head back towards the town centre and enjoy some of the local gastronomy.

Lloret offers restaurants for every taste, including Mediterranean cuisine, fresh fish and seafood, rice dishes, Italian, Japanese and Mexican food, as well as more casual options.

Afternoon: Explore the Historic Centre

In the afternoon, take a leisurely walk through the centre of Lloret and visit the colourful Church of Sant Romà, one of the town’s most recognisable landmarks.

Continue through its shopping streets and visit the Museu del Mar, located in the historic Casa Garriga. The museum offers an insight into Lloret’s close relationship with the Mediterranean, navigation and the local families who travelled to the Americas during the 18th and 19th centuries.

To finish the afternoon, return to the seafront promenade and enjoy the atmosphere as the sun begins to set.

Evening: Castell de Lloret

For something different, finish your first day at the Castell de Lloret, located above Sa Caleta.

As well as being one of the town’s most photographed landmarks, the castle is home to an immersive and interactive experience. During the season, you can also enjoy Les Nits, its bar and terrace overlooking the Mediterranean, with live music on selected summer evenings.

A wonderful way to end your first day by the sea.

DAY 2 · Coves, Gardens and Adventure

After discovering the centre of Lloret, your second day is dedicated to exploring its more natural side.

Morning: Santa Clotilde Gardens

Start the morning with a visit to the Santa Clotilde Gardens, one of the most special places in Lloret de Mar.

Set on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean, these gardens combine elegant stairways, sculptures, fountains, cypress trees and numerous viewpoints over the sea.

It is the perfect place for a peaceful walk while enjoying some of the most beautiful coastal views in Lloret.

Cala Boadella

Very close to the gardens you will find Cala Boadella, a small beach surrounded by vegetation and cliffs.

If you are visiting Lloret during the warmer months, it is worth taking some time to walk down to the cove, enjoy a swim and relax by the Mediterranean before continuing your day.

Afternoon: Fenals or Cala Canyelles

In the afternoon, you can choose between two different plans.

If you are looking for convenience and activities, head to Fenals Beach, a large beach with plenty of services where you will also find several water sports activities.

If you prefer to venture a little further away from the town centre, discover Cala Canyelles, one of Lloret’s most charming beaches. Surrounded by nature and home to a marina, it is also a great place to enjoy lunch by the sea.

Looking for Some Adventure?

Lloret also offers plenty of options for those who want to add a little adrenaline to their holiday.

Through Lloret Adventure, you can find activities such as kayaking, jet skiing, parasailing, quad biking, scuba diving, water sports, catamaran trips and electric scooter routes.

You can easily adapt your second day depending on whether you prefer relaxation or adventure.

Sunset: Sant Joan Castle

Before finishing the day, visit Sant Joan Castle, located on the hill between Lloret and Fenals beaches.

This ancient medieval fortress features a restored tower offering fantastic panoramic views of the coastline.

DAY 3 · Discover the Costa Brava from the Sea and Visit Tossa de Mar

For your final day, we suggest leaving Lloret for a few hours to discover one of the most beautiful towns on the Costa Brava.

Morning: Boat Trip

One of the best ways to discover this part of the coastline is from the Mediterranean itself.

During the tourist season, boats depart from Lloret and travel along different parts of the Costa Brava. From the sea, you can admire cliffs, beaches and small coves, offering a completely different perspective of the landscape.

One particularly recommended option is to take a boat to Tossa de Mar.

Discover Tossa de Mar

Once you arrive, spend a few hours exploring this beautiful coastal town.

Its main attraction is Vila Vella, the medieval walled old town overlooking the Mediterranean. Walking through its stone streets, climbing to its viewpoints and admiring the bay from the walls is one of the must-do experiences on the Costa Brava.

Afterwards, explore the town centre, spend some time at the beach and enjoy lunch before returning to Lloret.

Another Option: A Family Day Out

If you are travelling with children, you can swap the Tossa de Mar excursion for a day at one of the area’s family attractions.

Water World, located in Lloret de Mar, is a great option for families looking for swimming pools, slides and water attractions.

Another alternative is Marineland Catalunya, which combines a water park with different animal areas and shows.

For younger children, Gnomo Park is another option, offering activities and adventure areas surrounded by nature.

And If You Still Have Time...

Three days are enough to discover many of Lloret’s highlights, but there are always more places to explore.

You can visit the Modernist Cemetery, walk along another section of the Camí de Ronda, spend a few more hours at the beach, try a water sport or simply relax on a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean.

And if you are staying a little longer, Lloret is also an excellent starting point for day trips to Girona, Besalú, Cadaqués or Barcelona.
